About the event
This is a super relaxing, fun & creative workshop. Come along and learn how to create these gorgeous coiled baskets and trays using recycled fabrics, ribbons, wool, feathers, tassels & raffia.
This workshop is a modern twist on traditional basket making that will enable you to make gorgeous baskets quickly and with ease. Perhaps you would like to recycle/ upcycle those beloved old jeans, bring them along and transform them into a gorgeous coil basket and help save the planet by reducing waste at the same time. Win Win!!
All materials & tools are provided however we encourage you to go through your cupboards and bring along a bag of fabric, old clothes - made from material you love, any ribbons, wool, feathers, shells etc that you would like to incorporate into your basket and to share with the group.
Delicious Morning & Afternoon tea will be provided but please bring along your own lunch.
